While planning for our succession or incapacitation is not the most pleasant topic for most of us, it is, however extremely advantageous and in everybody’s best interest to not only make your wishes known, but also to formalize mechanisms by which our instructions will be carried out in the event of our death or incapacity. There are various available tools that our estate planning attorneys at Bar Law utilize in establishing such structures. We not only recommend that our clients (and the general public for that matter) establish the structures and mechanisms that best fit their unique familial and financial circumstances, but we also encourage our clients to review and assess the suitability of their existing plans as their life circumstances change over time.
